DeAnthony "Black Mamba" Thomas

De'Anthony Thomas News

De'Anthony Thomas just finished running the fastest time in the nation this year in the 200M at the LA City Section track meet, and on the football field he's proven himself to be equally dangerous. Last year, Thomas led the Crenshaw High School Cougars football team to a L.A. City Section title and a trip to the CIF State Championship game as a junior. Last month, Thomas verbally committed to play football for the USC Trojans following his senior year, and as one of the most coveted recruits in the class of 2011, he'll be a great asset for Southern California and their hopes of reclaiming Pac-10 dominance on the gridiron.

Thomas joins a recruiting class of 2011 that includes Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) standout wide receiver Victor Blackwell, Taft (Woodland Hills, CA) defensive tackle Antwaun Woods, and defensive end Jalen Grimble (Bishop Gorman High School, NV) to mention a few.

After falling short in the CIF State Football Championship last year, look for DeAnthony Thomas to lead the Crenshaw High School Cougars to another successful season this fall. Check back with CollegeLevelAthletes.com for more news and updates.
